Everything starts with air, this air which permanently surrounds us, which remains invisible to our eyes and which makes us live. The works presented in this catalogue pick up sundry concepts linked to the very nature of the inflatable: invention; protecting and salvaging; imitation; diversion and decoy; invasion and hypertrophy; playing; fantasy and eroticism; dreaming; and finally commercial production. These various terms permit us to take into account the variety of our perceptions about these objects with their generous, soft, flexible, light, rounded and optimistic forms.
