Practical information

Access:

Public transportation: underground (metro) line M2 station Bessières; bus 6, 7 or 66 station Bessières; bus 16 station Pont Bessières.

From the main station (CFF): underground (metro) line M2, direction Sallaz/Croisettes station Bessières.

By car: Coming from the north of Lausanne, take the Lausanne-Vennes exit, then follow the "Centre/toutes directions" signs. Park at the Riponne, Rôtillon or Mon-Repos carparks.

From the south, take the Lausanne-Maladière exit, then follow the "Centre" signs. Park at the Riponne carpark.

Opening hours:

Tues - Sun: 11am-6pm
Mon closed, except in July and August: 11am-6pm
The mudac is open from 11am-6pm on all bank holidays throughout the year, including on Mondays: open on May 9 and 20, 2013.

Entrance fee:

Full charge: Fr. 10.-
Students, pensioners: Fr. 5.-
Children up to 16, unemployed: free of charge
Combined entrance fee with Musée Historique, Lausanne: Fr. 15.- / Fr. 8.-

There is free entry on the first Saturday of the month.

Schools : we kindly ask you to inform us of your visit a few days in advance, by phone 021 315 25 30 or directly at the museum's reception.

Guided tours upon request: 100.- per group + 5.-/person (private groupe) and 50.-/class (schools)
