Art education at the mudac

Accompanying its programme of temporary exhibitions, the mudac offers a series of activities for children and families, conceived to discover design and the applied arts in a playful way. The activities are led by the mudac's art education team or invited designers, such as ceramists or jewellery designers for instance.

All activities are open to children with disabilities. Do not hesitate to call the museum on 021 315 25 30 for any further information.

Children workshop: Reading out loud

Partake in the recording of a story! story-telling, sound effects, dialogues, nothing will be left out.

If you know how to write, come with your favourite story. We will transform into a coded message... easy to decipher.

Family workshop: In a photoreporter's shoes

With your smartphone or your camera, track and document the numerous security devices and installations in the city. An opportunity to question your own relation to security.

The workshop starts with a 40 min guided tour of the exhibition Safe and Sound, followed by one hour of photographic investigation and one hour of discussion based on the gathered images.

Family workshop for ages 7-97. Teenagers welcome!
